The Glass Desert II – Cliffs and Stormlands has become my favorite of Sunya. There’s something that really drew me into the violent lyrics and chaos once they’ve fallen into despair; the relatable experience of someone going through terribly painful hardships and begging for it to end, but instead having to push through despite it all. When looping the album in my car, I couldn’t get the mental image of the scientist getting lightning blasted out of my head, so that’s what I went with for this event!
