Pilgrimage

I love the idea of the indigo child being a story that families tell their children about when they start to lose hope. She’s their Robin Hood, she’s their King Arthur, she’s their messiah. I wanted to do this in a sort of smashed together style of the psychedelic prog rock album covers of the 1970s and a vintage children’s folk tale book.

It’s watercolor, colored pencil, some acrylic, and finishing details in procreate.
