I wanted to take inspiration from the vintage Sci-fi merch aesthetic that you decided to give the Patrol soldier figure. I made a poster akin to older fantasy movie posters like Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. I toyed with the idea of making something for the book that is yet to be released, but since we don’t know much about it yet I felt like I wouldn’t do it justice.
I wanted to invoke everything that makes The Indigo Child as a series so profound. I referenced the prior instagram posts you had made, the merch, the game, and the music itself to try and do this concept justice. Even if I had chosen to exclude the characters, I wanted to find a way to convey the feeling of the albums through this visual medium. It isn’t afraid to be emotional, raw, and fantastical.
I wanted to give my art the same feeling of inspiration that your band chose to weave into its music.
