“The Monolithings” Baseball Team

Sunya lore + love of baseball implored me to make this!

If all goes well ;), I’ll be wearing this on a shirt to the show on 5/7 at The Glass House in Pomona! It’s a digital vector drawing (Affinity Designer 2 on iPad). Includes heavy Sunya vibes and 5 monoliths to represent the band members. *Backstory* The Glass Desert Monolithings are a scrappy baseball team forged in the wasteland beyond Antimai.

They’re made up mostly of shopkeepers from the Bazaareteria, travelers who sought shelter from storms, and even a marauder who threatened to kill everyone’s families if they didn’t let him join. Ahhhhhhh, baseball, the great equalizer!

They play in a small league with the Ring 7 Meka-Niks and LoTown Mouthfeeders, who have to sneak past the patrol guards of Antimai to play at Glass Desert Sandlot. Permanent home-field advantage, much? But they don’t mind. It’s the only place they won’t be discovered, and the last bit of normalcy they have left.
